There is something truly special about designing flowers for a beautiful countryside venue, and this recent wedding at Southdowns Manor was no exception.

The Beautiful Southdowns Manor

Set against the stunning backdrop of the South Downs, the couple chose a timeless palette of creamy yellows, soft whites, and fresh greens, creating a romantic and elegant atmosphere throughout their day.

The ceremony took place outdoors, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful Hampshire countryside. To frame the aisle and seating areas, delicate floral pew ends were carefully designed using gypsophila.

The arrangements added a touch of softness while complementing the venue's picturesque surroundings.

The bridal bouquet was designed to be both elegant and relaxed, featuring a beautiful blend of creamy yellow and white flowers such as buttercup roses and white peonies combined with lush foliage. The soft colour palette created a fresh, classic look that perfectly suited the outdoor setting. Matching bridesmaid bouquets carried the theme throughout the bridal party, while coordinating buttonholes provided a refined finishing touch for the groom and groomsmen.

Following the ceremony, guests moved inside for the reception where the floral styling continued seamlessly. Bud vases filled with carefully selected blooms were arranged throughout the reception space, adding charm and interest to each table while maintaining an airy and sophisticated feel.

Featuring a mixture of creamy yellow roses, white peonies, filler flowers and foliage with cascading gypsophila either side. The arrangement brought romance to the reception room while beautifully tying together the overall floral design.

One of the joys of working with a soft, natural colour palette is its versatility. The combination of creamy yellows, whites and greens felth fresh and timeless, perfectly complementing both the outdoory and indoor reception spaces. the flowers enhanced the beauty of the venue without overwhelming it, creating a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere for the couple and guests.
