A Briderton-Inspired Wedding in the Heart of Hampshire

The popularity of Regency-inspired weddings continues to grow, with couple embracing soft pastel palettes, abundant blooms, and a sense of timeless romance. The summer wedding at The Departure Lounge perfectly captured that aesthetic.

Drawing inspiration from the lavish flora displays seen in Bridgerton, I designed arrangements overflowing with garden roses, delicate lisianthus, fragrant stocks, and seasonal flowers. The result was a romantic atmosphere that felt luxurious and effortlessly natural.

Wedding Flowers for a Marquee Reception

The marquee at The Departure Lounge provides a blank canvas for creative floral styling. For this wedding, we transformed the space using an abudant floral installations that softened the structure and created an immersive experience for guests.

Key floral elements included:

  • Statement milkchurns which framed the end of the aisle

  • Romantic flower meadows running down the aisle that were then moved from the aisle to the front of the top table to create a beautiful statement piece

  • Lush budvases on each table creating a relaxed feel

  • Brides bouquet, Bridesmaid Bouquet, Flowergirl posy and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen.

The goal was to create the feeling of stepping into an English country garden, perfectly aligned with the Bridgerton-inspired vision
